Love Marriage vs. Arranged Marriage

Relationship Guidance may be required in both types of marriages. But which one is better? Let’s find out.

 Love Marriage Vs Arranged Marriage is a life time commitment. Some couples facing complication in relation . If couples spending less time before marriage they can not understand each other well . the divorce chances is less in arranged marriages compared to love marriages, it can be said that they are not happily married.  Hence choosing the right  partner  is success and happiness. Love marriage and arranged marriage are two ways to getting married. In love marriage you get to marriage with a person with whom you fall in love ,your love will be your life partner. In an arranged marriage, your parents search a partner for you, they decide with whom you will get married. There are some arguments for and against both these approaches to marriage.



Love marriage

– Both individuals already know each other and mutually decide to spend their whole life with each other.
– Couple is responsible for their choice and all the blame in future lies on the couple if any dispute occurs.
– Couple knows  each other’s likes and dislikes. so that they can spend their life with better understand.
–  such social issues like dowry and all ,they have the independence to take such decisions at their own level.
– love and mutual understanding , helps the couple for better understanding.


Arranged marriage

– Arranged marriage is confluence of two families not the choice of two individuals.
– Two families involved in arranged marriages evaluate each other and  when the two families are compatible with each other then marriage is possible.
– the conflict between the couple will be effectively resolved or mitigated because families are involve in these decision.
– In arranged marriages, couple is guided by parents whereas in love marriages couple mutually decides.


Both – the  love and the arranged marriages – have their pros as well as cons and marriage is a decision of lifetime. Ultimately, no one can says the best way for a perfect marriage because just like life, marriages are uncertain.
